This course is run by Te Puaruruhau, the multi-disciplinary team of Starship Children’s Health which provides 24/7 sexual assault services to children and young people throughout metropolitan Auckland. The ASAC course is one of the prerequisites for MEDSAC accreditation to provide SAATS services to children and young people in Aotearoa, providing high quality training for a wide range of doctors, nurses and allied health professionals.
