Working Group: Manual
We’re inviting expressions of interest from anyone who would like to join our Manual Working Group.
The role of the Manual Working Group is to develop and maintain the MEDSAC Manual as the single source of truth for best practice guidelines on the medical and forensic management of sexual assault, abuse, and non-fatal strangulation/suffocation for SAATS and NFSSAS contracted clinicians, managers, and administrators.
Group members need to have capacity to attend quarterly online Teams meeting plus an annual all-day face-to-face meeting and be able to contribute to tasks for group members outside of these meetings as needed (this is not expected to exceed a few hours in a month when required). Meetings and work for the group are remunerated.
Thank you for your interest in supporting this work.

Contribute: Manual & Education
We’re inviting expressions of interest from anyone who would like to help review or develop content for the MEDSAC Manual or our eLearning/education modules!
Sharing your details will make it easier for us to connect with people who have the right expertise when different pages/modules come up for review. When opportunities or projects come up, working groups can refer to this list to help identify people who may be a good fit, making it quicker and easier to progress updates and improvements.
If you’d like to be considered for future contributions, please take a few minutes to complete the form. We’re keen to hear from a wide range of perspectives and experiences so please share this link with your teams!
