In order to access a funded place on this course, each clinician must be:

  1. A current clinical practitioner
  2. Supported by a local Sexual Abuse Assessment and Treatment Service (SAATS) in Aotearoa/New Zealand
  3. Intending to participate in the local sexual assault roster.

MEDSAC will assess the Expressions of Interest and may give priority to areas with the greatest need for trained doctors and/or nurses.

Consideration will also be given to self-funded doctors/nurses who wish to learn more about the medical management of sexual assault but are not planning to join a SAATS.

Expressions of Interest are now open. The entries will be endorsed by Lead Clinicians.
