Manager: Website, Communication & Publications

We are seeking a talented Manager to join our team!

  • Contribute to making a difference within the health sector
  • Flexible working from home, with nationwide travel required
  • Part time, 20 hours per week

In this newly created role (previously incorporated with other portfolios) you will be solely responsible for the development and delivery of effective communications, website management and the production of publications.

Your role will see you:

  • Establish and implement an effective communications strategy and calendar
  • Ensure brand is aligned, relevant, accurate and engaging across various channels
  • Create content that will raise awareness of the services available
  • Ensure information is visible and accessible to all relevant communities
  • Produce online publications for members (latest news, newsletter, journal club)
  • Curate publicly available resources including articles, presentations, sector interviews
  • Manage, publish, and maintain up to date information on the website
  • Facilitate website access to resources and assist with any access issues
  • Ensure the service provider directory information is current and up to date
  • Provide ongoing development and production of publications
  • Work closely with staff, working groups and subject matter experts who contribute to publication content

About you:

You will offer knowledge or experience:

  • Developing and executing communications strategies
  • Creating compelling content for the appropriate audience and across a range of channels
  • Managing brand, campaigns, and production of publications
  • Designing visually appealing content, graphics, and collateral (graphic design skills desirable but not essential)
  • Managing a website/content management system
  • Working independently/remotely with flexibility to meet the organisations objectives
  • In addition, a basic understanding and acknowledgement of the importance of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Mātauranga Māori and te reo Māori is a welcome advantage.

Manager: Membership, Training & Events

We are seeking a talented Manager to join our team!

  • Part time, 30 hours per week
  • Flexible working from home with nationwide travel required
  • Lots of variety, interesting content, no two days the same

This newly created role (previously incorporated with other portfolios) has plenty of variety where you will be primary responsible for the Membership, Training and Events portfolios.

You will lead your own workload managing end-to-end events, ensuring training courses are well executed and that all members and stakeholders receive an exceptional experience.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Lead end-to-end event planning and delivery from registration through to aftercare
  • Manage, coordinate and host in-person and online training courses held nationwide
  • Collaborate with Working Advisory Groups, subject matter experts, key stakeholders, and staff on training programmes and events
  • Liaise with and support facilitators, subject matter experts and guest presenters throughout the lifecycle of training programmes and event delivery
  • Support event participants with user-friendly registration systems, the initial training programme through to accreditation
  • Provide advice and information to attendees on events, as well as broader products and services
  • Ensure participant feedback is received, acted upon, and responded to for quality assurance and continuous improvement
  • Successfully build and maintain ongoing relationships with members, facilitators, attendees, and key stakeholders
  • Liaise with suppliers to arrange venue bookings, travel, logistics, course material and equipment
  • Collaborate with your team to develop the annual events calendar, promotion of events, and plan future training courses
  • Lead member engagement, manage membership processes, including maintaining the database.

  • presenting to public groups and having confident communication skills
  • working independently/remotely with flexibility to meet the organisations objectives
  • In addition, a basic understanding and acknowledgement of the importance of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Mātauranga Māori and te reo Māori is a welcome advantage.

Travel will be required – you could be away for 2-3 days (up to three times per year) along with some evening meetings and weekend events (2-3 times per year) so flexibility here will be important, however it goes both ways, and your employer will ensure there is work life balance.
